Junior Accountants are responsible for accurately recording all financial transactions in appropriate ledgers or software, managing accounts payable by processing and handling invoices from suppliers, and allocating payments. They also oversee accounts receivable by issuing invoices to customers and managing payment allocations. Bank reconciliation is conducted to compare the company’s financial records with bank statements to ensure accuracy, while expense tracking involves monitoring and recording business expenses. Bookkeepers perform data entry of financial data into accounting software or ledgers, maintain the general ledger by handling adjusting entries and reconciliations, and manage petty cash accounts. They generate various financial reports for management review, and communicate with clients or stakeholders regarding financial matters.

Qualifications: At least a Bachelor Degree in Accounting

Experience: At least 2 years prior work experience 

Computer/software knowledge:

  • Accounting software, including Quickbooks online, Xero and Sage.

 

Accountants encompass a variety of tasks, including payroll processing (calculating wages, salaries, deductions, and taxes), financial reporting (preparing income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements), and budgeting assistance (helping prepare and monitor budgets). They also assist with tax preparation and compliance, manage inventory levels and costs, and analyse financial data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings. Bookkeepers ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, implement and monitor internal controls to prevent errors and fraud, support internal and external audits, and provide basic financial advice and guidance based on records and reports.

Qualifications: At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

Experience: Minimum of 4 years prior work experience

Computer/Software Knowledge:

  • Accounting software: QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage

A Senior accountant's functions encompass a variety of tasks, including the preparation of Annual Financial Statements in line with IFRS, assisting with tax preparation and compliance, managing and recording inventory levels, and conducting financial analysis to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities. They ensure all financial practices adhere to legal and regulatory requirements, implement and monitor internal controls to prevent errors and fraud, support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations, and offer basic financial advice based on records and reports.

Qualifications: At least a Bachelor Degree in Accounting, with or studying towards becoming a Chartered Accountant

Experience: At least  6 years prior work experience including Audit/articles training

Computer/software knowledge:

  • Accounting software, including Quickbooks online, Xero and Sage.
  • Audit/Compilation software including Caseware or Draftworx

A Financial Manager oversees financial planning, reporting, budgeting, cost control, risk management, compliance, and team supervision. A Financial Controller ensures accurate financial record-keeping, internal controls, financial reporting, audit coordination, regulatory compliance, cost management, and system implementation. A Chief Financial Officer (CFO) provides strategic financial leadership, capital management, risk management, investor relations, compliance, governance, and handles mergers and acquisitions. A Senior Financial Analyst develops financial models, analyses performance, assists in budgeting and forecasting, prepares management reports, conducts market research, evaluates investments, and collaborates cross-functionally to support business decisions.

Qualifications: At least a Bachelor Degree in Accounting with or studying towards becoming a Chartered Accountant

Experience: At least 8 years prior work experience including Audit/articles training

Computer/software knowledge:
